About Me
I grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where I spent the first 18 years of my life. I attended Northern Michigan University from 1983 - 1985, before heading west to obtain my B.S. in Forest Management from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona.
Upon graduating from college, I packed up my car and quickly moved back to the U.P., to take a seasonal position with the Mead Paper Company in Escanaba. With no full time positions opening up, I found myself heading west once again to begin my forestry career in the mountains of Northern California.
Wanting to reestablish my ties to Michigan, we purchased a camp (thanks to Coldwell Banker Schmidt) on Lake Superior in 2011. After numerous visits to our camp, we decided to make Marquette our home.
Professional Background
For the past 26 years, I’ve worked in the Forest Products Industry. I started as a Forester / Wildlife Specialist for the MichiganCalifornia Lumber Company and Timber Products in Northern California, before deciding to co-create a Forestry Consulting business.
I was the Vice President and owner of High Country Forestry Inc., a highly successful forestry and vegetation management consulting firm located in Mount Shasta, California. Following 21 years of business ownership, I decided to remove myself from High Country Forestry in order to make Marquette our new home.
I am now looking forward to directing my time and energy to help meet your real estate needs.
