It is that time of the year again. That time when a lot of us Yoopers head out to the woods to spend a good week or two looking for the whitetail. This season looks like it will be warm with little to no snow…. similar to last year. From word around the U.P. it sounds like we should see more deer out there this year… time will tell.
I am proud to say my grandpa shot a trophy up in the Copper Country back in 1970 which still stands as the #2 non-typical whitetail shot in Houghton County to this day. Check out this YouTube video with the story:
